Cardiff City coach Erol Bulut has extended his contract with the team for another two years following the end of the 2023-24 Championship season. As he prepares for the upcoming season, Bulut has made some changes to his coaching staff by bringing in former Watford coach Omer Riza to join the team.

Riza, who previously played as a striker, has been coaching at Watford for the past six years, with a focus on the academy from 2018 to 2023. His experience and expertise will be a valuable addition to the Bluebirds’ coaching staff as they prepare for the challenges of the new season.

In addition to Riza, Cardiff City has also retained Nikolaos Karydas, Tom Ramasut, and goalkeeping coach Mario Galinovic. However, assistant coach Nadir Sonmez has departed the team after one season. The changes in the coaching staff reflect Bulut’s commitment to building a strong team that is ready to compete at a high level in the Championship. With these additions and departures, Cardiff City will be aiming for a successful campaign under Bulut’s leadership in the upcoming season.
