Canada has announced its roster for the upcoming 2024 IIHF World Championship, and it includes three of the country’s most promising young hockey stars. Among the players named to the team are Connor Bedard, Adam Fantilli, and Macklin Celebrini.

Bedard was selected as the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks, while Fantilli was picked No. 3 by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the same draft. Celebrini is projected to be the top pick in the upcoming 2024 NHL Draft.

Other players who have been added to the roster include Jordan Binnington, Bowen Byram, Owen Power, Colton Parayko, Michael Bunting, Dawson Mercer, and Andrew Mangiapane.

Bedard had an impressive season in the NHL this year and led all rookies in points. He is a finalist for the Calder Trophy. Fantilli also had a standout performance in his league and won the Hobey Baker Award. Celebrini put up impressive stats as a freshman at Boston University but has yet to decide whether he will go to the NHL next season or stay in school.
