Bunny Shaw, a former Tennessee soccer player, has recently received three prestigious awards for her outstanding performance. She played for the Lady Vols from 2017-18 and has since made a name for herself on the professional soccer stage.

Shaw won the Golden Boot award on Sunday after a successful season with Manchester City, a team that competes in the Women’s Super League. The Golden Boot is awarded annually to the WSL’s top scorer, and Shaw certainly earned the recognition, scoring 21 goals before her season was cut short due to injury. This impressive total put her ahead of the league’s second leading scorer by eight goals.

During the 2023-24 season, Shaw came just one goal shy of setting a single-season scoring record, showcasing her incredible talent on the field. In addition to her Golden Boot win, Shaw became Manchester City’s all-time leading goal scorer in March, solidifying her place in the club’s history. She also holds the club record for career hat tricks with eight, as well as the WSL single-season record for hat tricks with three.
