The Buffalo Bills have completed a three-day minicamp and will now have some time off before training camp begins in July. During the first practice on Tuesday, wide receiver Khalil Shakir sustained a lower-body injury. He watched the remaining two practices while wearing a knee sleeve.

The team is hopeful that Shakir will be able to recover from his injury in time for training camp. In an interview with the Buffalo News, he stated that he plans to be back on the field. General manager Brandon Beane also expressed optimism about Shakir’s recovery, stating that he believes the wide receiver will “be OK.”

Despite Shakir’s absence for the final two practices of minicamp, the Bills are still optimistic about his return. They are also dealing with a few other minor injuries and bruises but hope to have all players back on the field for training camp.
