Salisbury and Ram, the British tennis duo, have won their fourth Grand Slam title together in the men’s doubles at the 2023 US Open. The pair has had a solid record in major tournaments but has yet to progress beyond the quarter-finals in Paris. In their next match, they will face off against French pair Gregoire Barrera and Lucas Pouille. Barrera and Pouille secured a victory over Jamie Murray from Britain and Michael Venus from New Zealand with a score of 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).

Meanwhile, Salisbury will team up with Heather Watson, another British player, in mixed doubles at the French Open. Unfortunately, rain affected the schedule in Paris, causing delays in the tournament. In men’s doubles, Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara from Finland emerged victorious against Luke Johnson and Skander Mansouri from Tunisia. Maia Lumsden and Wang Yafan from China suffered a defeat against Miyu Kato from Japan and Nadiia Kichenok from Ukraine in women’s doubles competition. Despite this setback, there are still plenty of British players to cheer for at the French Open.
