Bristol City has secured their first summer signing by bringing in striker Fally Mayulu from Rapid Vienna. The 21-year-old Frenchman signed a four-year deal at Ashton Gate for an undisclosed fee, with Mayulu expressing his excitement about joining the team.

Prior to his time at Rapid Vienna, Mayulu had a successful season with BW Linz, scoring 15 goals in 46 games and helping them secure promotion from the Austrian second tier. He also had a successful season at Rapid Vienna, making 35 appearances and scoring 11 goals in all competitions as the club finished fourth in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Mayulu stated that he believes Bristol City is the right place for him, citing the club’s good history and positive things about the city and fans. He is looking forward to making an impact for his new team and continuing his goal-scoring form in the upcoming season.

Bristol City’s first game of the Championship season will be away to Hull City on Saturday, 10 August. With Mayolu joining their ranks, they will be hoping to make a strong start to their season and compete for promotion to the Premier League once again.
