Alliance Health Centers has announced plans to open a new health clinic on Fort Wayne’s southeast side. The clinic, which will be located at 909 Elmrow Drive in the Bridge of Grace complex, will offer a range of services including family care, prenatal care, primary care, maternal mental health, midwifery care, and mental health services for children and adults. The organization is partnering with Bridge of Grace to provide high-quality healthcare to individuals regardless of their ability to pay.
Dr. Eric Shoemaker, the Medical Director of Alliance Health Centers, expressed excitement about being a part of the southeast Fort Wayne community. He emphasized that the organization’s mission is to bring care closer to the community members they serve by addressing obstacles such as financial, language, and transportation barriers. Dr. Shoemaker also highlighted that the staff will include members who speak Spanish, Portuguese, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Burmese.
The clinic is scheduled to open in mid-June and operating hours will be Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dr. Nikki King, the CEO of Alliance Health Centers, emphasized the importance of meeting patients where they are located by providing assistance with Medicaid and insurance questions as well as high-quality healthcare services.
Bridge of Grace will be hosting two open-house events on June 12 to provide public tours of the new facility and allow individuals to learn more about the services offered by Alliance Health Centers. These events will provide an opportunity for community members to meet with staff members and learn more about how they can access affordable healthcare services on Fort Wayne’s southeast side
