In Argentina, the Apartment building M 5605 showcases grey bricks in stretcher and hole bond patterns, demonstrating the enduring appeal of brick in contemporary design. A Public Pavilion in Spain features geometric structures made of thermal bricks, while an Intermediate House in Paraguay is centered around a courtyard with high exposed brick walls. Lastly, the Electricity Supply Board Headquarters in Ireland utilizes slender buildings and planted courtyards for a pleasant microclimate and daylight.
