On May 29, Hollister Police arrested two individuals for breaking into a commercial business on the 1100 block of East Park Street. Surveillance footage helped identify the suspects as 44-year-old Osvaldo Vergara and 57-year-old Katherine Branch.

Just two days later, the same suspects returned to the business and broke into the storage unit again, stealing around $1,000 worth of property. The investigation began when officers responded to a report of a burglary at the business. They found that two suspects had gained entry into the storage unit area and stolen a few items.

Vergara was arrested in the 800 block of East Street, while Branch was taken into custody in the San Benito County riverbed. Both suspects were booked into the San Benito County Jail on charges of burglary and grand theft.
