On June 27, several restaurants and food establishments in San Bernardino County were ordered to close by health inspectors. Hoji, located at 721 Nevada St., Suite 407 in Redlands, was shut down due to insufficient hot water. Meanwhile, DQ Grill & Chill at 2238 N. Arden Ave. in San Bernardino was closed on July 2 because of a cockroach infestation.

KFC at 2007 E. Highland Ave. in San Bernardino was closed on June 28 due to food contamination caused by a water leak. However, it was reopened on July 1 after the issue was resolved. Los Arcos at 934 E. Highland Ave. in San Bernardino was also closed on June 27 for reasons that were not provided.
