James Scott, a standout wide receiver from Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, Texas, has received a scholarship offer from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Despite only playing in three varsity games last season, Scott made an impression on scouts with his impressive performance at the Houston Christian mega camps on Tuesday.

Nebraska is the fifth school to extend him an offer, joining Pittsburgh, Sam Houston State, Tulsa and UTEP. Standing at 6-5 and weighing 200 pounds, Scott’s athleticism and potential make him an attractive recruit for any college program.

Scott’s recruitment process is still ongoing, but he has already shown great promise as a player. In just three games last season, he secured 11 catches for 135 yards and two touchdowns. This impressive performance has caught the attention of many schools and coaches across the country.
