In this latest rankings update, several players have dropped off the list, including Matt Mervis, Tyler Nevin, Wilmer Flores, and Ryan Noda. The rankings include First Baseman and Designated Hitter Rest-Of-Season rankings, with updated information on players’ performances.

One player causing some uncertainty is Michael Busch, whose recent batted-ball numbers have been improving. However, the Cubs have benched him against both righties and lefties due to defensive reasons, despite his strong base-stealing record. On the other hand, Spencer Torkelson showed promise in the final two months of last season but has struggled this year and was recently demoted to Triple-A. His offensive and defensive performance have raised questions about his future in the majors, even though the Tigers want to see him succeed.
