A fuel trailer was stolen from a business in Butte County, California over the weekend. Days later, deputies discovered the trailer on the side of the road near Palermo Honcut Highway and Lower Honcut Road. They also found a man and his truck at the scene. After an investigation, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office determined that the man was responsible for stealing the trailer.
The man was arrested for grand theft and possession of stolen property. Additionally, a woman associated with the theft suspect was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies were able to return the stolen trailer to its rightful owner.
