Fernanda Reikdal Lima is a prominent woman in technology who currently serves as the director of IT operations for global manufacturing at Johnson Controls in Glendale. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing IT operations at more than 100 manufacturing and engineering sites worldwide. With over two decades of experience in the IT field, Lima began her career at a new manufacturing site in Brazil and has since held various leadership positions, including IT manager for Brazil, IT director for Latin America, and IT director for global products.

Throughout her career, Lima has been involved in leading numerous IT initiatives such as ERP implementations, data center migrations, cloud transformations, and cybersecurity enhancements. She also takes an active role in promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization by leading the UNIDOS business resource group and mentoring other women in technology. Lima organizes events and activities to foster cultural awareness, professional development, and networking opportunities for members of the BRG and the wider organization.

Outside of her professional commitments, Lima is dedicated to giving back to the community. She initiated a program to provide weekend food assistance to underprivileged children at Milwaukee’s United Community Center and volunteers at Bruce-Guadalupe Community School during their career day to speak about cybersecurity and her role at Johnson Controls. Her passion for technology and commitment to making a positive impact both at work and in the community make her a truly inspiring figure in the field of technology.
