On May 29, 2024 at 6:16 p.m., the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) hosted its annual Matchmaking Event for minority- and women-owned businesses at the Clinton Presidential Library and Museum. The event attracted over 120 diverse businesses, with owners and managers in attendance.

The purpose of the event was to facilitate connections between these entrepreneurs and 41 public and private sector buyers, resulting in over 260 meetings throughout the day. This year’s event was a success, with a strong turnout and positive feedback from participants.

The matchmaking event provided a valuable opportunity for minority- and women-owned businesses to showcase their products and services, while also giving buyers a chance to discover new suppliers and partners. Through events like this, AEDC continues to support diversity and inclusivity in the Arkansas business community, fostering economic growth and opportunity for all.
