Since April 26, a total of 28 border posts have been installed as part of the coordinate adjustment works on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This represents about 35 percent of the planned works, according to the Armenian government. The expert groups from both countries are continuing their work on the border, with 20 border signs placed along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. However, specific border demarcation works near the Kirantsi bridge in Tavush marz region are not visible.
Previously, Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of Parliament, Armen Khachatryan, had informed “Azatutyan” that the border demarcation process in Tavush and Kazakh sectors had already been completed. This progress on the border posts and signs is part of ongoing efforts to delineate the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
