Bone and joint pain can be caused by a variety of conditions such as osteoarthritis, lupus erythematosus, sprains, and poor posture. These symptoms can manifest in various ways in individuals. It is important to detect and treat these conditions promptly to prevent complications. CKI Nguyen Van Tu, from the Center for Orthopedics at Tam Anh General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, explains that bone and joint pain can be classified into two groups: pathological causes and non-pathological causes.

Pathological causes include chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis affects the cartilage and soft tissues around the joints, causing pain, swelling, and limited movement. If left untreated, it can result in disability and damage to multiple organs. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that affects the synovial membrane of the joints, leading to swelling, redness, and pain.

Other conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, and tendonitis can also cause bone and joint pain. Injuries, overexertion, poor posture, and aging can contribute to bone and joint pain as well. It is essential to seek medical attention if the pain persists for more than a week or is accompanied by specific symptoms like joint swelling, redness
