Hundreds of settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, raising Israeli flags and chanting slogans calling for a mass storming of the mosque on the 76th anniversary of Israel’s establishment. The settlers also attacked the UNRWA headquarters in Jerusalem, throwing incendiary materials for the third time in a week. Meanwhile, dozens of elderly Palestinian worshipers were prevented from entering the Palestinian interior at the gates of Al-Aqsa and the Old City as settlers threw flammable materials at UNRWA headquarters in Jerusalem.

In other news, Tamer Faqha was found dead without a head after being besieged by Israeli forces in a monastery in Al-Ghusun ten days prior. The situation remains tense in the region as clashes and attacks continue to escalate.
