Boeing is currently facing potential criminal charges for failing to adhere to certain terms of an agreement with the US Department of Justice. These include a door panel coming loose on a 737 MAX 9, a wheel falling off a Boeing 777, and an engine fire on a Boeing 737 during takeoff.
