The 34-year-old former Scotland international, Jordan Rhodes, has officially joined Blackpool after an impressive loan spell with the club. Rhodes had a standout season with Blackpool last term, scoring a total of 15 goals in all competitions.

Rhodes first made his mark with Blackpool by scoring nine goals in his first ten games with the club. This included a memorable hat-trick against Reading, which set the tone for his successful loan spell. Following his successful loan stint, Rhodes has now made a permanent move to the Tangerines after his second spell with Huddersfield.

Expressing his excitement about returning to Blackpool, Rhodes stated on the club’s website that he feels fortunate to have another opportunity to play for the club. He spoke highly of his time with Blackpool last season, saying that he loved being part of the team and felt really comfortable at the club. Rhodes also expressed his hopes of continuing to perform well and contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming season.

Blackpool is thrilled to welcome back Rhodes as he joins them on a 12-month deal. The striker will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to their squad and bring much needed experience and quality to their attacking line.
