After conducting tests on Monday, June 17, the Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County has announced that the advisory for high bacterial levels at Bird Key Park/Ringling Bridge Causeway Park has been lifted. The decision comes after the water quality at the park returned to acceptable levels of Enterococcus bacteria as per state guidelines.

Residents and visitors can now enjoy the water at Bird Key Park/Ringling Bridge Causeway Park without any concerns about high bacterial levels. The test results indicating improved water quality can be found on FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
