On Saturday, May 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Laredo Health Department is hosting an exciting event called “Biciclovia”. The aim of this fun-filled day is to encourage families to ride their bikes or tricycles downtown and enjoy the outdoors together. With the warm temperatures expected, there will be cooling stations, water bottles, and organizers are advising cyclists to take precautions against the heat.
The event will take place at Tres Laredos Park, where bikes will be available for rent for those who do not have their own. In addition to biking, attendees can enjoy food and activities including Zumba and tai chi. Free parking will be available at the Outlet Shoppes at Laredo for all guests. This event is free and open to the public; join the community in pedaling their way downtown for a day of fun and outdoor activity!
