President Joe Biden’s campaign is making a comeback after his disappointing debate performance on Thursday. Recent reports indicate that the president’s top donors have been informed of the potential financial implications if he were to end his presidential run. In response to this concern, Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, spoke with around 40 of Biden’s biggest financial backers to address the issue.

During the call, Chavez Rodriguez assured the donors that Biden had no intention of giving up on his 2024 run. She also mentioned that the majority of the campaign funds would be directed towards Vice President Kamala Harris, with a smaller amount going to the Democratic National Committee. Similar conversations have taken place within the Biden camp and more are planned for the coming weeks.

Despite his poor debate performance, Biden has shown no signs of stepping down. In a speech to supporters in North Carolina, he candidly acknowledged his shortcomings while emphasizing his ability to speak the truth. Biden expressed his firm belief that he could still fulfill his duties if he were to run for office again.

Reports of tension within the Democratic Party have surfaced, with Biden’s family urging him to stay in the race and blaming his top aides for his debate performance. Additionally, there are growing concerns within Harris’ camp regarding potential replacements for Biden if he were to withdraw from the race. It’s being said that influential Democrats like Gov. Gavin Newsom of California and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan are being considered over Harris.

As speculation continues to swirl around Biden’s future plans, discontent is mounting within Harris’ circle. Allies of Harris are reportedly frustrated that other politicians are being prioritized as potential replacements for Biden. Despite this, representatives for Biden have yet to respond to inquiries about the situation
