Last week, the National Children’s Council for the Illustrated Literature (NCCIL) hosted artist Jason Chin, introducing children to a world of science and wonder. On Thursday, Chin’s exhibit, “The Universe in You”, opened to the public and features examples from his books that introduce the sciences to young readers.

During a workshop held by Chin, kids had the opportunity to draw and explore science stations set up in the main gallery. These hands-on demonstrations allowed children to learn about geology, astronomy, physics and other disciplines in a fun and interactive way.

“The Universe in You” will remain on display until May 10th, providing a playful yet educational experience for young minds. Through this exhibit, children will be able to explore the wonders of the universe within themselves and gain an appreciation for the sciences.
