Bezerk Productions, a nonprofit organization located in Yucca Valley, is presenting a mental health coloring book called “See, See, See, More! Listen With Your Eyes” at a celebration on June 20th at Birdcage Comics Cafe in San Bernardino. The coloring book was created by artists on the emotional behavioral spectrum and is sponsored by a California Arts Council/Creative Corps grant.

Bezerk Productions has been operating since 2001 and first started with the original version of Cracked Eggs, an interdisciplinary troupe of individuals on the emotional behavioral spectrum. In 2021, they launched Cracked Eggs again with the help of funds from the Mental Health Services Act. They offer workshops twice a week to clubhouses and TAY centers in San Bernardino County.

The gala event will feature performances by Erica Mosco and Jeff Pippin’s band, as well as an award ceremony. Artists involved in the creation of the coloring book such as Cathy Dye, Lilian Iskandar, Mia Jette, Erica Mosco, Jeff Pippin, Jeff Pope and Denise Smith will be present to discuss their work.

The creative corps grant received last year supported a yearlong program held at Birdcage Comics Cafe in San Bernardino which involved training for teachers and workshops for students resulting in 100 selected drawings for the coloring book.
