According to data from playgroundequipment.com, the average cost to play basketball is $427 while lacrosse can cost up to $1000. Beyond Sports NC is seeking donations of sports gear in good condition or new, with a focus on items needed for fall sports such as soccer, field hockey or football. All donations will benefit Title I schools in the Triad, ensuring that children in need have the equipment they need to participate in sports.
