Nash held the Guinness World Record for the longest tenure as a flight attendant while working for American Airlines. Although she faced health challenges, including breast cancer, she never officially retired from her role at American Airlines. She began her career with Eastern Airlines in Washington, D.C., before it merged with American Airlines. In an interview, Nash shared how she faced strict criteria such as height and weight standards when she started her career.

Throughout her illustrious career, Nash worked tirelessly to ensure that every passenger had a comfortable and enjoyable experience on their flights. Despite her demanding job schedule, she made sure to return home each night to care for her son, who has Down syndrome. The Association of Professional Flight Attendants paid tribute to Nash for her warmth, dedication, and service.
