Ted Karras, a center on the Cincinnati Bengals, has extended his contract with the team for another year. Karras signed a three-year deal with the Bengals before the 2022 season began and has been a valuable asset to the team ever since. He has started all 33 regular season games he’s played and three postseason contests. Prior to joining the Bengals, Karras played for the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins.

The Bengals announced Karras’ extension on Thursday, ensuring that he will be a part of the team for at least one more year. While much of the offseason talk has centered around potential contract extensions for wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, Karras was the first player to secure a new deal with the Bengals. His consistent performance on the offensive line has made him a priority for an extension, and his experience and reliability make him a key piece of the team’s plans moving forward.

With Karras back in place, the Bengals have added stability to their offensive line and will look to build on their success from last season. The team aims to continue its upward trajectory in the NFL with Karras as a crucial part of their plans.
