On Thursday, the Bengals made several key moves by extending the contract of center Ted Karras and signing one of their 2024 draft picks. Additionally, defensive tackle Kris Jenkins signed a four-year deal with the team, becoming the ninth of their 10 draft picks to finalize his rookie deal.

Jenkins is a valuable addition to the team, having been a standout defensive player for Michigan during their recent college playoff appearances. In 43 games, he recorded 113 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery for the Wolverines.

The Bengals also bolstered their defensive tackle group by signing veteran Sheldon Rankins and third-round pick McKinnley Jackson. They join returners B.J. Hill, Zach Carter, and Jay Tufele to create a strong unit for the upcoming season.
