Bellin Gundersen Health System has proposed a logo for “Emplify Health,” which was revealed by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The system saw a significant milestone on Saturday as 133 students graduated from Bellin College, with 89 obtaining Bachelor of Science degrees, 20 receiving Master’s degrees, and 21 earning Doctorate degrees. This ceremony also marked the first graduating class from newly implemented programs at the school, including students who completed a bachelor of science degree in surgical assisting and those with a cardiovascular concentration from the sonography program.

During the ceremony, leaders addressed the merger between Bellin and Gundersen Health and announced the new name of the combined system, Emplify Health. They assured students and families that despite the change, the college’s name would remain unchanged. Chris Woleske, Bellin health region president, explained that the merger was aimed at having a greater impact on health and well-being together than either organization could achieve alone. He noted that despite the merger happening 1.5 years ago, many people were still unaware of it.

The new name “Emplify” is a blend of “empathy” and “amplify,” chosen because it reflects the values of both Bellin and Gundersen Health. In Green Bay, WI (WTAQ-WLUK), this marks an important milestone for both Bellin College and Emplify Health by Bellin as they continue to work towards providing quality healthcare to their patients.
