Despite facing obstacles in their quest for a new stadium, Bears President and CEO Kevin Warren remains optimistic that a solution will be found. The team had proposed a plan to use tax money from the state to fund the stadium, but state officials have rejected this idea. However, Warren believes that at the right time, a plan for a new stadium will come together.

The Bears had hoped that taxpayer money would help fund their stadium project, but the state is unwilling to use public funds for a project that would primarily benefit an already profitable organization. Warren understands the state’s perspective but still hopes they will reconsider after the November election.

Warren acknowledges the complexities involved in such a project and recognizes that it will take time to reach a resolution. He points out the pressing issues facing the state, such as homelessness and hunger, that must also be addressed. Despite facing resistance in Illinois, the Bears remain committed to finding a solution for their stadium project and will continue to advocate for taxpayer support even though it may be an uphill battle.
