In recent news, Bayern Munich has announced that Josip Stanišić has signed a new five-year contract with the club. The defender, who spent last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen and had a successful spell there, has now chosen to continue his career in Bavaria. Despite scoring against Bayern Munich during his loan spell, Stanišić has committed to staying with the club that he joined in 2017.

Stanišić’s versatility and talent make him a valuable asset for Bayern Munich. Since joining the Bayern academy, he has made 41 appearances for the first team and scored one goal. Despite being born in Germany, the 24-year-old represents Croatia at the international level and was part of the squad that competed in the EURO 2024 and was eliminated by Italy in the group stage.

Bayern Munich fans will be eager to see more of Stanišić in action and witness his potential unfold during the new season. He will now be part of Vincent Kompany’s squad at the Allianz Arena as they look forward to another successful season together.
