Marc Roberts, a 33-year-old defender, has signed a two-year deal with Barnsley after being released by Birmingham City this summer. During his seven seasons with Birmingham, he made 186 league appearances. In 2017, Roberts joined the Tykes and helped them win promotion to the Championship in 2015-16.

Roberts expressed his excitement about returning to the club where he had experienced the best part of his career.
