In the T20 World Cup 2024 match between Bangladesh and Nepal, Bangladesh emerged victorious with an impressive bowling performance. Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, and Tanzim Hasan played crucial roles in Bangladesh’s win as they restricted Nepal to a total of 85 runs.

Nepal was led by Sompal Kami’s inspiring spell with the ball, which saw him strike with the first ball and limit Bangladesh to a low total of 106 runs. Despite this, Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane reached a milestone in T20Is by completing 100 wickets.

Despite a shaky start, with Nepal at 26 for 5, Dipendra Singh Airee and Kushal Malla provided some stability for Nepal. However, they were unable to chase down the target set by Bangladesh and fell short by 21 runs.

With this victory, Bangladesh became the eighth and final team to qualify for the Super 8s of the T20 World Cup 2024. In the Super 8 stage, they will face tough competition from teams like India, Australia, and Afghanistan in Group 1.
