Bangladesh clinched the final spot in the Super 8 phase of the T20 World Cup by defeating Nepal by 21 runs on Sunday. The match, which was held in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, saw Nepal win the toss and field first, restricting Bangladesh to a total of 106 runs. However, Nepal was unable to chase down the target and was bowled out for 85 with four balls remaining in the match.

Despite their efforts, Bangladesh emerged victorious and secured their place in Group 1 of the Super 8s, joining India, Australia, and Afghanistan. With this victory, Bangladesh has advanced to the next phase of the tournament.
