The French platform for selling reconditioned products, Back Market, has partnered with Bouygues Telecom to offer a promotion on the purchase of a refurbished smartphone. This promotion is now available to customers who want a refurbished device in addition to new phones. By subscribing to a new plan with Bouygues Telecom, customers can receive a discount of up to 200 euros when purchasing a refurbished smartphone.

Back Market works with over 1,000 reconditioners, providing customers with a wider selection of refurbished models to choose from. The promotion will be tested starting May 22 and will be available to around 50% of Back Market’s Internet users before being rolled out to all customers in mid-June. Customers can save 150 or 200 euros on the purchase of their refurbished smartphone, depending on the plan they choose.

While the discount is attractive, some customers may find the overall cost of the plan and smartphone purchase to be higher than expected. Customers with a lower-priced plan may end up paying more over a 2-year period compared to those with a higher-priced plan and a discount on the smartphone purchase. However, this partnership aims to cater to customers who may otherwise opt for a new phone due to the lack of refurbished models available on Bouygues Telecom’s site.

Overall, this promotion offers an excellent opportunity for consumers looking for refurbished devices at affordable prices while also enjoying high-speed internet through Bouygues Telecom’s packages.
