Auterion, a US-Swiss firm, has developed a new drone technology called the Skynode S that can bypass electronic warfare countermeasures. This solution allows unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to operate even in situations where GPS is degraded, jammed, or unavailable. With this technology, drones can continue to reach and destroy their targets up to 90 percent of the time, according to Auterion’s chief executive Lorenz Meier. The terminal guidance of the Skynode S is fully automated and resistant to jamming, making it reliable even on moving targets.

The Skynode S is transforming the battlefield by enabling Ukrainian forces to use smarter drones on a larger scale to defend against aggressors. This technology has the potential to make a significant impact in military operations by ensuring drones can continue to operate effectively in challenging environments. Despite being introduced recently, the Skynode S has already been tested in combat in Ukraine. Ukrainian drones equipped with this technology were able to navigate without satellite guidance despite Russian jamming on the battlefield.

By utilizing an open architecture format, Auterion is able to customize the end users’ ecosystem by bringing together manufacturers of the best capabilities on one network. This allows for full customization of drone fleets with the Skynode S technology. The Skynode S can be connected to jamming-resistant GPS antennas, electromagnetic sensors, and computer vision algorithms to achieve maximum effectiveness.

The Skynode S is also highly adaptable as it can be easily modified and integrated with other systems based on customer requirements. This makes it a versatile tool that can be used across various industries such as agriculture, search and rescue missions and disaster management operations. With its ability to function under challenging conditions and its ability for easy integration with other systems makes it a valuable asset for any organization looking for an efficient way of managing their unmanned aerial vehicle fleet.

In conclusion, Auterion’s Skynode S is revolutionizing the way organizations approach unmanned aerial vehicle operations by providing them with an effective solution that allows them
