Angelo State University’s B.S. in computer science degree program has recently been validated as a NSA Program of Study, confirming the high quality and relevance of the curriculum offered. This achievement is a reflection of the dedication and expertise of the faculty, as well as the overall quality of education provided at Angelo State University.

The program is overseen by Dr. Erdogan Dogdu, who serves as the chair of the Department of Computer Science at ASU. According to Dogdu, this validation serves as confirmation that students who enroll in the program will receive an education that is recognized and respected by both industry leaders and government agencies.

In addition to the B.S. in computer science program, ASU also offers a new B.S. in cybersecurity degree program that will soon be eligible for validation as a NSA Program of Study once students start graduating from it. The official NSA Program of Study designation will allow ASU to apply for the NSA’s CAE-CD designation later in the summer, further enhancing its reputation in the field of computer science and cybersecurity education.
