The Thornton Police Department is looking for help in identifying an arson suspect who caused two fires near businesses on June 3. Both fires happened around 6 p.m. on that day, and firefighters from the Thornton Fire Department were called to the scene behind the businesses located at 3901 E. 112th Avenue.

Authorities have reviewed surveillance footage and determined that both fires were set intentionally by a male suspect. Local businesses in the area reported seeing a man walking in the vicinity frequently. Anyone with information about the suspect or the fires is encouraged to contact the Thornton Police Department’s tipline at (720) 977-5069.
