Arsenal Women’s Super League club has announced that Sweden international forward Stina Blackstenius has signed a new contract extension. She joined the Gunners in January 2022 after leaving BK Hacken on a free transfer. In her two and a half years at Arsenal, Blackstenius has become the team’s top scorer, scoring 43 goals in 83 appearances across all competitions.

Blackstenius expressed her love for the club and the special atmosphere that surrounds it, saying it feels like home to her. Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall praised Blackstenius as a “top-class striker” who plays a crucial role in his future plans for the team.

Eidevall highlighted that Blackstenius’ contribution goes beyond just scoring goals, as she is also known for her hard work, clever running, and physicality on the pitch.
