In recent news, it has been reported that Arsenal is the latest team to express interest in signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for a potential summer transfer. Osimhen, who has a release clause of €160M, has stated his desire to leave Napoli and the Premier League as a potential destination.

Napoli, however, is willing to use the funds from Osimhen’s release clause to provide funding for their new coach, Antonio Conte, in the upcoming transfer window. Despite this, Chelsea was previously interested in signing Osimhen but recent reports suggest that Saudi Arabia has made a lucrative offer to the player which may have reduced Chelsea’s interest.

Now, according to reports from Il Roma via calcionapoli24.it, Arsenal has reached out to Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, to discuss the possibility of a transfer to the Emirates Stadium. The Premier League runners-up from last season are exploring the option of bringing Osimhen to their team in the upcoming transfer window.
