High school sports teams in the Jackson area are preparing for their final regular season games and district tournaments. As postseasons begin in some sports and are about to start in others, these teams are gearing up for their final stretch of the season. In baseball, matchups include Jackson at Pinckney, Tecumseh at Lumen Christi, and Columbia Central at Grass Lake, among others. Soccer teams will face off in games such as Western at Hanover-Horton and Grass Lake at Jonesville. Softball teams will also be competing in games like Napoleon at Lumen Christi and Grass Lake at Addison.
As the postseason continues, more baseball games like Pinckney at Stockbridge and Hillsdale at Camden Frontier, as well as soccer matches such as Jackson at Mason and Dansville at Hanover-Horton, will be played. Softball games will also take place, including Western at Harper Creek and Grass Lake at Lumen Christi. Golf events like the Big 8 Jamboree at Concord are also on the schedule.
