Apple is reportedly in talks with Meta regarding the possibility of bringing Meta’s generative artificial intelligence model Llama 3 to its devices. However, Bloomberg reports that the negotiations were brief and did not progress. Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp, is known for its artificial intelligence applications.

Apple’s discussions with Meta are part of a larger trend where companies are seeking to leverage Apple’s distribution network through its iPhones. However, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple has rejected Meta’s proposal to bring Llama to Apple devices.
