Apple has recently announced new artificial intelligence (AI) features, called ‘Apple Intelligence,’ at WWDC 2024. The company aims to make devices smarter and more useful with this technology. However, only iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will receive these AI tools, leaving out over 90% of Apple mobile phone users.

The new AI functions will be available in English-speaking markets in 2024 and in Spanish-speaking markets in 2025. Models with M1 processors or higher, including certain iPad and Mac models, will benefit from ‘Apple Intelligence.’ Siri has seen improvements, such as real-time instruction correction and integration with the operating system for complex tasks.

‘Apple Intelligence’ also includes features like smart writing tools for text composition, creating personalized emojis with Genmoji, and an image generator called Image Playground. It can transcribe and summarize phone conversations, emails, and notifications, highlighting relevant messages.

Despite the late entry into the AI market compared to competitors, Apple is bringing innovative features that enhance user experience and functionality. The company has been working on improving its AI capabilities for some time now, but the latest update is limited to specific Apple device models due to processing capacity requirements.
