At the Annual Developers Conference (WWDC 2024), Apple announced plans to launch new features powered by Artificial intelligence (Generative AI) for Siri, with a release date set for 2025. Mark Gurman, in his Power On newsletter for Bloomberg, revealed that these features will provide users with a personalized, integrated, and private experience, harnessing the power of AI to understand user needs and context.

While testing won’t begin until later this summer, meaning they won’t be included in the first beta versions of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. These advanced Siri features are likely to be rolled out in 2025, with the initial release in iOS 18 offering more basic functionalities like text-to-speech support.

Apple Intelligence is also launching in English initially and will expand to include other languages and regions next year. New developments related to Mail and Swift Assist have been delayed until the end of the year, showcasing Apple’s commitment to enhancing user experiences through AI-driven technologies.
