Anti-war activists in Gaza have claimed that they successfully hacked the servers of Israel’s Ministry of Justice, obtaining hundreds of gigabytes of data. The ministry has been investigating the breach and its potential consequences since the morning, with the extent of the files obtained not yet fully clear.

The hacking was attributed to a group called Anonymous for Justice, which shares similarities with the well-known hacker group Anonymous. They announced on their platform that they had accessed information about the ministry’s employees, judges, official letters, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. The authenticity of the information published by the group remains uncertain.

This is not the first time the group has targeted Israel, as they previously claimed to have hacked the servers of Israel’s nuclear research center. Israeli officials are on alert for similar attacks during the upcoming Quds Day celebration in Muslim countries, where support for Palestine is demonstrated. The group has vowed to continue their attacks until the war in Gaza ceases.
