Angel Reese is already making history in the WNBA just five games into her professional career. With a 12-rebound performance against the Seattle Storm, the 6-foot-3 Chicago Sky forward became only the second player in WNBA history to record 24 offensive rebounds in her first five games. The only other player to achieve this feat was Yolanda Griffith, known for her rebounding and defensive prowess in women’s basketball.

Reese’s success in the WNBA mirrors her collegiate career at LSU, where she ranked 5th in all-time NCAAW offensive rebounds and 16th in total rebounds. She is currently leading the entire league in offensive rebounds.

In addition to her historic rebounding performance, Reese also secured her first double-double in Tuesday night’s game. She is the first Sky player since Sylvia Fowles to achieve this within her first five games. This milestone comes as no surprise for Reese, who has been dominating the league since she entered it.

Looking ahead, the Sky will face the Los Angeles Sparks at Wintrust Arena, where Reese will square off against star rookie Cameron Brink. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT, and fans can expect to see more impressive performances from Angel Reese as she continues to make her mark in the WNBA.
