Angel Reese has made a name for herself in the WNBA, reaching a major milestone as a rookie. Since stepping into the mainstream spotlight more than two years ago as a collegiate star, she has faced unsolicited opinions about her character. However, her performance on the court has silenced any doubts.

Reese, who stands at 6-foot-3, had a breakout game for the Chicago Sky in a recent match against the Connecticut Sun. She achieved a fourth consecutive double-double, scoring a career-high 20 points. This milestone makes her the first player in the 2024 rookie class to reach 100 points and 100 rebounds.

Despite the team’s 4-7 record this season, Reese has proven her ability to excel in the WNBA. She is averaging close to a double-double with 9.6 rebounds and 12.4 points per game. Leading all rookies in rebounds and steals, she is second only to Caitlin Clark in points per game this season. Her performance on the court has turned doubters into believers.
