Andrea Belotti has decided to join Cesc Fabregas’ Como in a deal worth around €5m. The 30-year-old forward, who has struggled to replicate his previous goal-scoring form with just 10 goals and four assists in 68 appearances under Jose Mourinho, is set to sign a two-year contract with the newly promoted side.

Despite interest from other clubs such as Real Betis, MLS clubs, and Saudi Arabian sides, Belotti preferred to stay in Italy. He spent a loan spell at Fiorentina where he managed four goals and an assist in 24 games before returning to Roma but was not able to secure a permanent deal with the club.

Now, Belotti is preparing for medical examinations with Como as he prepares for his new career at the club. He believes that this move will provide him with a fresh start and a chance to reignite his career in Serie A.
