After shooting a 71 in the third round, Amy Yang currently holds the lead at the Women’s PGA Championship, bringing her to seven under par. Lauren Hartlage and Miyu Yamashita are close behind at five under par. However, Sarah Schmelzel, who was tied for the lead with Yang in the previous round, fell back with a 74 in the third round, leaving her at four under par.

Charley Hull of England was within striking distance of the leaders before hitting a triple bogey on the 17th hole, ultimately finishing with a round of 72 and ending the day at one under par. Despite this setback, Hull remains positive and optimistic heading into the final round.

Yang is determined to make history in Sunday’s final round as she has yet to secure a major victory in her career despite having five wins on the LPGA Tour. She remains focused on embracing the moment and staying present, regardless of the outcome.

The third round also saw Pajaree Anannarukarn of Thailand sink a hole-in-one on hole 10, marking only the second ace at this year’s Women’s PGA Championship and just the fourth since 2018. The competition remains fierce as players look to make their mark in women’s golf.
